Every year we start off our Scouting Year with a Water Bottle Rocket Launch.  Scouts use a common item, a 2 Liter Waterbottle, and use our homemade launchpad.  With the help of water, as a propellant, and air as an energy source, we see how far our Scouts rockets can fly.  They learn simple things within physics and aerodynamics during this session.
